Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is a American author, singer and actor well-known for her character Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s she began her acting career on stage in Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. In the 1950s, she acted as a stage actor in a few Broadway productions before gaining into the spotlight with her hit song 'Lil' Abner' in 1957. In 1957, she launched her first album of music named It's time to Tina. Louise started her Hollywood career in 1958, when she played Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a film that was dramatic. It was a huge success and Louise earned her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. In New York, Louise enrolled in Actors Studio and began her friendship and friendship with Lee Strasberg. Her most memorable performance came through in 1964 when she was signed by CBS to play Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise Balfour was able to juggle between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing a somber, sombre character contrast to her image of a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and for her role as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in the last few years she's also earned a name for herself as a director who has been successful in numerous well-known TV shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. The family she was born into moved from Essex to Toronto, where she spent growing up and in adolescence. Her home was in Vancouver when she was chosen for the role of Samantha Carter.
